Personal Care Services
In addition to medical supplies and equipment, Alliance Medical offers personal care serves (PCS) to patients who need special help with daily activities. Designed to assist family members and full-time caregivers, our personal care services range from daily help with patient mobility to weekly shopping trips for food and medicine. The AMI staff of in-home aides is fully trained, qualified, and strives to provide the best possible personal care for our patients.
To qualify for personal care services, a patient must have a medical condition that requires direct and ongoing medical care from a physician. The same physician will usually prescribe these valuable personal care services. Alliance Medical will then assess the patient's need and assign an in-home aide best suited to meet those needs. Candidates for personal care services may include, but are not limited to, accident and stroke victims, elderly adults and diabetics. AMI is please to offer the following:

Personal care services are usually covered by Medicaid and private insurance companies, provided a patient meets the necessary criteria. Alternate payment plans are also established for patients who are not eligible for insurance coverage.
Depending on the patient's needs and individual situation, personal care services are scheduled by AMI on daily, weekly, or monthly rotations. While Medicaid recipients may be eligible for up to 60 hours of service per month, private pay patients may schedule services as needed. For your convenience, Alliance Medical will verify and directly bill insurance coverage, allowing patients and their families to concentrate on things that matter most.
